Trade Union Membership and Job Commitment

68 страниц. 2014 год.
LAP Lambert Academic Publishing
Job commitment is the attachment, loyalty and dedication an employee shows on a job.Employers should be more concerned about how best to tap employee interest in the job and ways to motivate employees in order to realize any good results. This book presents the subject of relationship between trade union membership and job commitment among employees in organizations and it recommends that organizations should not view unionism, trade union leaders, and employee relation experts as inciters of employees but rather creators of harmony, peace and good working environment for high organizational performance to ensue. ''Trade dispute” means a dispute or difference, or an apprehended dispute or difference, between employers and employees, between employers and trade unions, or between an employers’ organization and employees or trade unions, concerning any employment matter, and such a dispute can reduce employee job commitment.
