Issues related to teacher quality and quality ofteacher education is always a priority in any societycommitted to excellence. Thus, it is imperative thatthe academic and professional training whichpre-service teachers get from Teacher EducationInstitutions should equip them with theory andpractice connections for them to become effectiveteachers. This study determined the practices of TeacherEducation Institutions that can bring about theattainment of the objectives of the curriculum. As awhole, enriched curricula, well-planned syllabi, awell-implemented faculty development program as wellas strict student admission and retention policiesare practices that can bring about the attainment ofthe objectives of science education curriculum
