LAP Lambert Academic Publishing Pulpal therapy in primary dentition is more challenging and difficult than in adult due to the behaviour management problems in children, limited opening of the mouth, complexities of the root canal system such as presence of fine and tortuous canals, accessory canals, lateral canals, anastomoses etc in primary molar and danger of injuring the underlying permanent tooth bud. However, these can be overcome with patience, skill and considerable clinical acumen. The pulpal therapy in primary teeth includes indirect pulp capping, direct pulp capping, pulpotomy and pulpectomy. But due to the time bound constraints, it is difficult to perform an in-vivo study of various pulpal therapy used in primary teeth. Thus this study is designed for pulpectomy in primary teeth.
