Regardless of the advances made on the use of technology in assessing language and computerizing this assessment, not much has been done to contribute to validity of oral interview. The current research has been undertaken to verify the use of short or long prompts in order to improve the validity of this assessment tool by assisting the candidate''s resources to enhance communicative effectiveness.
